Portrait of a Kiln: 2026 features the work of eight established ceramic artists from across North America, and offers viewers a glimpse into the lives and work of these artists through the lens of their personal kilns and the unique relationships they have with these tools, which are central components of their studio practice and their working lives.

The event is free and open to the public and All are Welcome. All events at Crossdraft are held in conjunction with the FAVO Motel Studios monthly open house events, which feature 30+ working art studios and galleries, live music and food.

This exhibition was funded in part by a United Arts of Central Florida individual artist grant and this closing reception is the last chance for the Central Florida community to experience this unique and impactful show.
